There are five musicians who comprise the cello and beats band wood.

wood produce genre-hopping music of all shades. The lineup of four cellos and percussion allows music as contrasting as Sting's A Thousand Years and Bartok's Romanian Dances to share the limelight with arrangements of Me'Shell N'Degeocello, Labi Siffre, Steve Reich and Nitin Sawnhey. Their performances also feature their own original compositions, in styles ranging from funk/soul revival to reggae via ambient chill.

wood is about to release their debut ep, and tour to the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
